It all started with Ringo.

She said YES

and he changed her world forever.

It started in 2022 when Jena Olio said "YES” to Ringo.
He was old, sick and orphaned after his owner died suddenly.
Jena, with a heart for older dogs, lovingly cared for Ringo in her home for two years until his death.

As Jena cared for Ringo, people began bringing older stray dogs to her attention—dogs barely surviving on the streets. Dogs who had been abandoned, orphaned, or never had the chance to know a home.
Dogs that were easy to overlook but impossible to forget once she truly saw them.

THEN SOMETHING CLICKED.

These dogs didn't need a temporary stop. They needed a place to call home. What started as concern turned into action: building a home-based sanctuary giving old abandoned and stray dogs a new beginning.

A Sanctuary Built on Firsts

For many, Tail End means the first time:

Being seen.

Being cared for.

Feeling safe.

Knowing kindness.
